A four day Intensive full of learning about the Flute with masterclasses with special guest artists, Flute Yoga, Body Mapping, Performance Anxiety Classes, Audition Preparation, Flute Choir, Performances from the guest artists and students, and Flute Bonding Time Activities! About the 2020 Intensive
Myrtle Beach Flute AND BASSOON Intensive
This year, due to COVID-19, we only allowed 25 members, in person, TOTAL. We offered both In-Person and Online opportunities for all flutists. We were at maximum capacity!

We held the Myrtle Beach Flute and Bassoon Intensive right on the Beach at the Myrtle Beach State Park.
​
Because our flutist guest artist was Mrs. Jessica's Master's teacher, Kathy Karr, we invited her husband Matthew Karr, also Mrs. Jessica's woodwind quintet coach in her masters, to teach at the intensive. We held a Bassoon and Flute Intensive and celebrated both beautiful Instruments.

This year we had a very special Guest Vendor that came to our Flute Intensive.
​
Andrea is an incredible flutist and the designer of Fluterscooter Bags. Mrs. Jessica and Andrea met at the Iowa Flute Intensive where they became friends. Andrea traveled to South Carolina to share her incredible, inspirational story to our students and to show her beautiful bags, Flute World accessories, and J.L. Smith representative at the Intensive.
